I wanted to apologize for dragging you into this. It’s a huge burden to put on someone, telling them that they are your world. What I do here is a mark of immaturity. You’ve done nothing to deserve it, and your other has done nothing wrong. Still I can’t stop projecting these images of you in my head, divine. This is how it is every time for me, I, who play the fool.
It’s just, people like you are so hard to find. So I am drawn to pursue, as a thief would wealth. But I only see a glint of your coin, and cannot make out its face. I only see the slight of you from a distance. I don’t really know anything about you. Your every piece could be lying in wait to run me through, so that upon our meeting, I am cut down, and you are cut down, and for all my words, we are not the better for it. But this encounter is so very far away. You know naught but the length of my name. I am a ghost in love with the living.
